My History:
-Born in a small town in Kansas and lived on a farm from 15 to 19 years old.
-Started university in the Architecture dept but needed personal building experience and took a few years off to learn to build houses.
-Resumed studies and signed up for the only Solar Architecture course available in 1979 in Tempe, Arizona.
-Burning desire to find a lower impact architectural solution to the problems of building in the modern world.
-Graduation from Kansas University, left for Italy and was employed by The Etruscan Foundation to help start a program for architectural students to learn to build the traditional Italian techniques.
-Moved to Stockholm and worked for Rupert Gardner Design as a draftsman/designer.
-Started my own business doing stage design, trade show stands, retail stores, furniture design
-Creative director for the Stockholm Fashion Fair independent designer building for 4 years.
-Moved to the United States for family reasons, and started Global Homes Design to build environmentally responsible buildings.
-Now a well rounded practical environmentalist with a good understanding of design and marketing.
